Empower Physical Therapy & Wellness

Dr. Cynthia Flores

PT, DPT · Physical Therapist

Dr. Cynthia Flores grew up in Covina and has been part of the physical therapy world since her college years, when she worked as a PT aide while studying at Cal State Fullerton. That hands-on experience helped shape her decision to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, which she completed at Azusa Pacific University in 2025. Cynthia has a special interest in scoliosis management and postural retraining, helping patients understand how alignment affects the way they move and feel. As a recent graduate, she brings fresh clinical knowledge and genuine enthusiasm to every appointment, and she takes the time to make sure each patient feels heard and supported throughout their care.

In Their Words
“If you can dream it, you can do it.” Walt Disney's words have stuck with me since I was a kid, and I try to carry that same belief into how I treat every patient.

Core Values

What guides the work.

Cynthia's approach centers on patient education, especially when it comes to scoliosis management and postural retraining. She takes time to explain what's happening with a patient's spine and posture, empowering people to understand their own bodies rather than just following instructions. Having worked as a PT aide before becoming a therapist, she has a clear appreciation for every step of the patient experience, from the front desk to the treatment table. Cynthia believes recovery is something patients build for themselves, and she's there to guide, encourage, and dream big alongside them.

Outside the Clinic

Life beyond the treatment table.

Outside of work, Cynthia's world revolves around her husband and family. She's a regular at Disneyland and never misses a chance to catch a Dodger game. When she's not cheering from the stands, she's likely at the gym or enjoying the outdoors, staying active in the same way she encourages her patients to.
