Eilene Alvaro-Basulto
Eilene Alvaro-Basulto is a Physical Therapy Aide at Empower Physical Therapy & Wellness. She grew up in Ontario, California, and is currently attending Cal Poly Pomona, where she is studying Kinesiology. Before joining Empower, Eilene worked as a Zumba instructor, and this role marks her first job in physical therapy. She brings that same energy and enthusiasm to the clinic every day as she learns the ropes and supports patients throughout their visits.

What guides the work.
As she begins her career in physical therapy, Eilene brings the same energy she used as a Zumba instructor to her work with patients: encouraging, upbeat, and attentive to what people need in the moment. She's eager to learn from the therapists and aides around her, and she takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and supported during their visits. For Eilene, showing up ready to help with a positive attitude is just as important as any skill she's still building.

Life beyond the treatment table.
Outside the clinic, Eilene starts her days with a morning run and stays active with regular weightlifting. She also loves cooking and spending time with family, the things that keep her grounded as she builds her new career.
