Dr. Srbouhi Biyazyan
Dr. Srbouhi Biyazyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and raised in Van Nuys, California. Her path to physical therapy became personal after she tore her ACL and meniscus and went through her own course of rehabilitation, an experience that shaped her decision to pursue this career. She earned her B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Cal Poly Pomona, and along the way volunteered her time helping injured soldiers in Armenia. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at West Coast University. As Clinic Director, Srbouhi brings both clinical expertise and a firsthand understanding of what it feels like to be a patient, and she leads with that perspective in how the clinic cares for the people who walk through the door.
“Fall down seven times, stand up eight.” That's the Mamba Mentality I try to live by, and it goes hand in hand with something Nipsey Hussle used to say: real success is built a brick at a time.
What guides the work.
Srbouhi leads the clinic with the belief that recovery is built one step at a time, much like laying a foundation brick by brick. Having gone through her own ACL and meniscus rehabilitation, she never loses sight of what it feels like to be on the other side of the table, and she makes sure that same empathy runs through the entire clinic. She holds herself and her team to a standard of resilience, encouraging patients to get back up every time progress feels slow. For Srbouhi, being Clinic Director means creating an environment where patients and staff alike feel supported in doing the hard, steady work that real recovery requires.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the treatment table.
Outside of work, Srbouhi's dog Nala is never far from her side. She loves the adrenaline of skiing, snowboarding, and sky-diving, and she balances that thrill-seeking side with dance and the occasional escape room challenge with friends and family.
