Lauren Banuelos
Lauren Banuelos is a Physical Therapy Aide at Empower Physical Therapy & Wellness. She has lived in West Covina her whole life and earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Cal Poly Pomona after graduating from South Hills High School. She brings over 100 hours of inpatient care experience from Casa Colina Hospital, along with experience as a medical records clerk for a home health agency, to her work with patients every day.

Compassion, perseverance, and growth guide how Lauren shows up for patients every day. What she likes most about working at Empower is how closely the team works together, with everyone sharing a true passion for helping people get better. She brings that same collaborative spirit to every visit, supporting patients and the rest of the team however she's needed.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the treatment table.
When she's not working, Lauren loves spending her days at the beach, and she'll rent a board whenever the waves are good. She also has a corgi named Lola, who she loves taking to the beach, treating to pup cups from Starbucks, and photographing for Lola's own Instagram. In the winter, Lauren swaps the surfboard for a snowboard at Mountain High.
