Maya Reyes

Rehab Aide

I grew up in Chino and went to Ayala High School. But I spent the majority of my time in Diamond Bar where I danced hula almost every day of the week. For college, I went to UCSB to study biology and got my BS there.

I volunteered at the Chino Hills clinic the past 2 summers!

The core values that drive me in life are family, empathy, and resilience. I’m very close to my family, and they are my main support system. I value empathy because you never know what another person is going through. Resilience is important to me because it helps you overcome any obstacle life throws your way.

“Don’t expect excellence from mediocrity”

As an aide, I help patients with their exercises and provide care to help them achieve their wellness goals.

I want to help patients feel more comfortable and excited to try new exercises

I like the welcoming atmosphere Empower has.
