Physical Therapy Aide

I grew up in Ontario, CA, and I am currently attending Cal Poly Pomona where I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. I decided to pursue a career in the field of Kinesiology because I am passionate about exercise and health.

Before I began working as a physical therapy aide, I was a Zumba instructor at a Herbalife club called “New Day”. I enjoyed working there because I love to dance, but most importantly I loved helping others meet their fitness goals. This is my first job as a Physical Therapy Aide and I find it incredibly rewarding to see patients regain their strength and mobility through physical therapy. Helping patients progress in their rehab journey not only deepens my understanding of movement science but also reinforces my commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives.

The language barrier is something that the patients have to deal with that I want to fix and help facilitate.

I instruct and guide the patients in performing exercises that the Physical Therapists prescribe, as well as greeting them into the clinic and prepping them for their treatment.

What I love about working here is that it has such a positive and welcoming energy that it feels like a second home. Everyone here is kind and supportive, creating a true sense of family. Being part of the Empower team has allowed me to build strong connections, not just with patients but also with the physical therapists, whose guidance has been incredibly valuable. Learning from them has helped me grow and feel like a real part of a team that values teamwork and care. The positive environment created by both employees and patients makes this clinic a truly special place.

I love going on morning runs and weightlifting in the afternoons. I also enjoy cooking and learning new recipes. Lastly, I love spending time with my family.
